A gentleman named Kent, whom we see frequently here in town, always greets us robustly with his salutation from the Psalms: "This is the day which the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it". This was a wonderful day. Thank you, Kent.

ReplyDeleteTo start, i would like to thank your family for keeping us updated on your recovery. Every word they type screams out how proud they are of you and your progress.
I can relate and empathize with you and how it must feel to be stuck in a hospital bed day after day. However, you have a more demanding recovery ahead of you and i can't wait to see you back on your feet again. By reading through this blog i can already see that you have more fight in you than what your body is willing to give. Keep on fighting cause every new day will always be better then the last.
As i feel the need to come and visit you, for now this message will have to be a start. Until then i wish you a speedy recovery and to take each new day and treat it like your first. Everything will be more beautiful and things will taste better as if it were your first time experiencing them.
May God bless you, your family and friends during this speed bump in your life.

We are getting ready to go up to the swim meet and rest assured we will be cheering the team on for you. Christian will be swimming the 100 meter breast stroke for the first time ever. Hopefully he knows what the breast stroke is!!
