Two physical therapists came to work on Paige this afternoon.  Paige soon had them out for a short shuffle, with one therapist on either side supporting her.  Tonight she is softly singing "Jessie's Girl" by Rick Springfield and "A Whole New World" from Aladdin.

A gentleman named Kent, whom we see frequently here in town, always greets us robustly with his salutation from the Psalms: "This is the day which the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it".  This was a wonderful day.  Thank you, Kent.

  3. Paige,

To start, i would like to thank your family for keeping us updated on your recovery. Every word they type screams out how proud they are of you and your progress.

I can relate and empathize with you and how it must feel to be stuck in a hospital bed day after day. However, you have a more demanding recovery ahead of you and i can't wait to see you back on your feet again. By reading through this blog i can already see that you have more fight in you than what your body is willing to give. Keep on fighting cause every new day will always be better then the last.

As i feel the need to come and visit you, for now this message will have to be a start. Until then i wish you a speedy recovery and to take each new day and treat it like your first. Everything will be more beautiful and things will taste better as if it were your first time experiencing them.

May God bless you, your family and friends during this speed bump in your life.

  7. To one of the best friends I have ever had-
Thank you for absolutely everything you have done for me. I can't tell you how hard it is to hear that such an amazing person like yourself, is hurting this much. It isn't a surprise to me that your singing, it's just like you to have a better attitude then anyone else. I'm sorry I haven't been around this year...I should be there for you. I think I'll come down to see you next weekend, it only seems fitting because I know you would do the same for me. You are lucky to have so many people loving you like they do. Trust me, you are in good hands<3
Love all the way from Maine, emily

We think as part of your recovery you should consider talking your parents into a similar trip to the attached you tube link so you can celebrate fully and dance your way around the world.
